30 years of performing together have brought Wood, Wind & Wire to a place where their music is an extension of their Appalachian roots and follows the American Folk Music tradition. Americana/Roots styling was the impetus for this album taking life experiences and writing them into the memorable songs. The Hammered Dulcimer is featured in several solo instrumentals as well as being used to accompany Karen's rendition of "Amazing Grace". The Bowed Psaltery makes it's doleful presence known and adds a haunting quality to the arrangments. This is an album whose sound never grows old in the listening.
