In 1999 in the wake of the columbine crisis Vampire Nation's infamie reached a peak when the FBI raided their Pittsburgh based studio and confiscated master tapes to the unreleased album 'Narrative: The Life of Fredrik von Hamilton, an American slave'. The case is still pending in a US district court. After the raid the band dissapeared into the studio for the next year only showing themselves for a brief tour of the north. The result of those '99 studio sessions is Wise-Ta-Nech Pre European Africa. Vampire Nation is a band creating alot of controversy with the new instrumental album it seems not only is this a band destined for more recognition but a band literally letting the music speak for itself Goverment Probs or not. The band name 'Vampire Nation' refers to the pilling of Egypt by the Romans ie: sucking the life out of a nation. Enjoy the ride theres alot more to come...
