Analog machines are a stamp and do have a crucial role on this sound. Made in Austria and pumping up the volume from the city of Villach, WPA012 brings DECODER into our ears. Productions are raw, analog and dirty. Nearly everything is recorded live while jamming with hardware. Inspired by the pioneers of House and Techno music from Chicago and Detroit he´s a Oldschool lover, from smooth to heavy banging beats. Another influence is the sound of Belgium and the Netherlands from the early and mid 90´s. All started about 10 years ago, dancing whole nights until dawn, enjoying electronic sounds coming out of big loudspeakers. Soon took his first steps to make electronic music on his own. Decoder begun with software but realized right away that needed real instruments with real knobs to play with, instead of sitting in front of a computer screen clicking here and there.
