Holm/Mirland - electro industrial from Denmark Holm/Mirland is a Danish minimalist/electro/industrial project from Kim Holm (managing director for the Recession Festival, Crackdown) and John R. Mirland (Mirland, M73, Owl in The Woods, Mechanical Principle). Inspired by classic acts such as ClockDVA, Cabaret Voltaire, Lassigue Bendthaus, Klinik, Underworld a.o. Holm/Mirland plays an energetic mix of heavy beats, noisy synths and clean melodies with the occasional vocal added. The latest Holm/Mirland release "In Control" (Robotik, 2014) received fantastic reviews in the international media with comments like "a highly recommended experience in sound for all lovers of intelligent electronics" (Side Line Magazine). Holm/Mirland live is a full on multimedia show with video projections, live generated graphics and lights where the band plays a nonstop set with rearranged versions of their songs.
