Harm’s Way plays loud and hard, harkening back to the days when bands like The Who and Black Sabbath played shows that seemed to almost be inconsiderate of their audience. We write and play what we love - that’s it. We don’t give a damn about the latest trend or sounding like the band with a number one record this minute. We are Rock and Roll and we believe that as long as we are able, it is our duty to play it the way it ought to be. Scott Howard - Bass/Vocals Scott Howard puts the bottom end down. He's got a great feel for the music and works with the guys on all aspects of the song writing. Scott has been playing with John and Brad for many years and has the scars to prove it! With the ever-present Spector bass, he stands ready at stage left and keeps it in the pocket for us. Scott also is the head of Multi-Level Records, which, besides having duties with Harm's Way, manages some great talent at his record label. He's well respected in the publishing community with his publishing company MLR Publishing and also the mastermind behind our website... http://www.harmsway.us Ernie Art - Drums Ernie Art is the newest man to come into the fold. Ernie grew up in Ohio and was a champion drummer in his teen years. He played with some great rock bands through the years and has now found his home in Illinois as the pace setter for Harm’s Way. Growing up with a steady diet of bands like Iron Maiden and Rush, Ernie brings some wicked chops to the skins that adds a whole new dimension to the power blues based rock we write and play. Ernie is also second cousin to our singer, Brad. Ernie uses Pearl EXR drums with Remo heads, Zildjian cymbals and plays it all with Promark 747 oak sticks. Brad Reamer - Lead Vocals Brad Reamer, aka “The Lung”, belts it out for you. John heard him sing at a party the first time they met. Funny thing is, Brad was just singing along with a Joe Cocker song playing on the stereo! John was the first to think this guy could sing…good call! While never preachy, Brad writes lyrics that will make you think as he explores our everyday existence… and he’s been known to blow the covers off of more than on PA system. His vocal influences range from Daltrey to Cornell. To quote bassist Scott... "God doesn't just pass out voices like Brad's. I truely believe he's blessed and that it's a sin not to hear him sing." John Menich - Lead Guitar John Menich is the engine. That guitar….damn. Listening to him play is one thing but seeing him do it live will blow your mind. John is the main music writer for the band and while he wields the axe, John is proficient is several other instruments as well. Thank God he can’t play them all at once or the rest of us would be out of a job. Besides being an incredibly talented musician, he’s also a technological wizard as is responsible for all of our engineering and recording.
