Jason Clayborn, the lead singer of the group, has written songs for other artists, including Kim Burrell, VaShawn Mitchell, and Pastor Hezekiah Walker just to name a few. In 2013 Jay &The Team released their CD project, “The Heart of the People,” featuring the hit single “Without You”. Their new singles “Here & Now” and “See You” will be available Fall 2015, and are just a taste of the new music from their upcoming 2016 release. Jay & The Team are a group of young adults comprised of anointed lyricists, composers, musicians and singers.
