After "minding the flock" at four record/CD stores on the East Coast, I saw the industry come to a close in 2007. With the loss of my position at Sam the Record Man, it seemed time to tell the story of trials, travels and travails spun over music. Now trying to make a living at selling my music, I thought I would relay a mutual plight to the listener and ultimate patron of the arts, you! The vocal, guitar and harmonica were recorded in one take. The piano intro and slide guitar played afterward by myself , along with tracking the always melodic, acoustic bass of Pat Metzger and subtle "bang on drums" of Joel Fountain. (Great performance guys!) Hope you enjoy this inspired track in advance of the new EP... Mastering was done by Brock MacFarlane at CPS in Vancouver. Amen for ears and technical wizardry!
