Barbelo, home of the divine, is the realm of immortals, both Gods and Masters. Barbelo is also the name of the Mexican band that has developed a unique music style: Quantum music, a rich fusion of electronic sounds and ancient instruments. By means of this concept, the band intends to reflect and to make awareness of the spiritual link that exists between Earth and human beings. Barbelo has launched its first album "Ethnoaural", which includes styles ranging from electronic/lounge to contemporary ethnic music. Also, other styles such as jazz, classical and progressive rock refine Barbelo’s unparalleled musical concept reflected in this work. Mexican musician and composer Jorge Reyes (Suspended Memories, jointly with American musician Steve Roach and Spanish composer/guitarist Suso Saiz), famous all over the world due to his contribution to contemporary ethnic music, has produced "Ethnoaural", where he also plays the flute and other prehispanic instruments in most of the themes. About the album: “Ethnoaural” is a collection of 9 themes composed by Barbelo and Jorge Reyes that results in a magical mixture where Jorge Reyes’ prehispanic instrumentation is perfectly intertwined with Barbelo’s atmospheric, digitally-oriented proposal. Jorge Reyes’ supreme direction, under Peter Avar’s sound engineering supervision, makes “Ethnoaural” a must-have for collectors. For the first time, the great American singer Susan Lincoln collaborates with Barbelo, singing with a beautiful Hildegard-von-Bingen-style. Susan’s chants represent the voice of Mother Earth performing a healing ritual with which she not only cures mankind, but also cures herself. This project includes collaboration of other talented musicians with different nationalities, representing human kind’s oneness. El músico y compositor mexicano Jorge Reyes (Suspended Memories, con el músico norteamericano Steve Roach y el compositor y guitarrista español Suso Saiz), famoso en todo el mundo debido a su gran contribución a la música étnica contemporánea, ha producido “Ethnoaural”, en donde también toca las flautas y otros instrumentos prehispánicos en la mayor parte de los temas. Sobre el álbum: "Ethnoaural" es una colección de 9 temas compuestos por Barbelo y Jorge Reyes, donde el resultado es una mágica mezcla donde la instrumentación prehispánica de Jorge se entreteje perfectamente en un contexto de atmósferas y música digital propuestos por Barbelo. La magistral dirección del maestro Reyes, bajo la lupa sonora de Peter Avar, hacen de estas melodías un disco obligado para los coleccionistas. Por primera vez, la gran cantante Americana Susan Lincoln colabora con Barbelo, cantando en un estilo tipo Hildegard von Bingen. Los cantos de Susan representan la voz de la Madre Tierra llevando a cabo un ritual de sanación en el que no solo cura a la humanidad, sino también a ella misma.
