No introduction is needed for the well known back to back duo Cally & Juice. Keeping one of the busiest diarys of any UK DJ, playing at all of the world's biggest events and festivals they are constantly pushing their brand of hard dance music to the ever appreciative clubber. Ourstyle is Cally & Juice's outlet for their unique productions that basically fuse together the main elements of hard trance and hardstyle while incorporating sounds from many other genres that influence them, such as rock, drum & bass, old skool and hip hop to name a few. Enjoy the Silence This is a very clever re-work of Depeche Mode's classic 80's anthem of the same name. This one is reflects the way Hardstyle is going once more with a nice heavy off-bass accompanied by wicked grooves, stab patterns and even an original rap vocal thrown in for good measure. All this takes you nicely into the main drop. If you can't remember what the original lead riff sounds like, the memories will come flooding back in seconds. This is a proper hands in the air, spine tingler and when the vocal kicks in it's amazing to see how many people actually know the words and sing along. After a minute or so of hands in the air nostalgia, the tune brings you back into the room with a flat out triplet version of the riff and 'balls to the wall' kick and bass. C&J have been playing this track in their big sets for a long time and it never fails to take the crowd to fever pitch. Handlebars For the AA of this release C&J have decided to release a tune that was originally only written to play in their sets and not for release. However the crowd reaction to this tune quickly changed their minds. The intro and outro of the track are packed with a huge kick and bass, accompanied by some of the dirtiest stabs and grooves you'll ever need. The big surprise to punters comes when this all breaks down into the soft melodies of "Handlebars" by the Flobots (if you don't recognise then name you'll definitely recognise the song). They have brilliantly managed to turn this soft, light guitar riff into a proper hands in the air, synth anthem. The build up from the drop can't fail to whip everyone into a frenzy of anticipation. When it kicks back in it doesn't disappoint. It's got it all, big kick and bass, huge anthemic stab pattern and a wicked vocal that sticks in the mind. Top- marks all round and another dance floor filler.
