Suburbia, a multi-generational trio, was originally formed as a cover band back in 2000. Jeff and Lou had performed as a keyboard and guitar duo in Long Island area clubs and restaurants during the 1990’s and by the end of that decade the guys decided to add pre-recorded backing tracks to their performances to enable them to get bookings as a rock band. In 2002, Jeff and Lou decided to take their original demos to the next level. Lou’s LGC Recording Studio was upgraded to enable the band to produce their first CD entitled, “Talk Is Cheap” released in 2005. Meanwhile, by 2003, Jeff’s son Aaron had matured into a talented lead guitar player. He was given a chance to show what he could do on several of the tunes on “Talk Is Cheap,” and soon became the third member of Suburbia for live gigs as well. The release of Suburbia’s second CD, “Hole In The Road,” came on April 1, 2011. The eleven songs were all written for that recording. The band’s newer singles, “I’m Doing Fine” is an upbeat, fun tune about breaking up and getting over it, “Wedding Song (I’m Dreaming of You),” Nowhere to Hide” about the lasting memory of someone, “What Am I Gonna’ Do” about wondering what it’s all about, and “Rock N’ Roll Mind” about what happens if you let the musoic play woth your head. Suburbia showcases their original music along with performing covers at various venues on Long Island and is available for concerts and charitable events.
