Esther is a worship leader, attorney, engineer, visionary, strategist and writer using her talents to unite Christians to become the Esther Generation -- men and women of faith with loving hearts and a passion for social justice. Esther is the 6th generation in an unbroken line of pastors and ministry leaders spanning almost a hundred years. She is a successful practicing attorney and married mother of three daughters and is faithfully answering a challenge by God to feel His passion for her generation and to convey an upbeat and hopeful message of unity, love and justice. The EP "United" was born in early 2014. As she was preparing to record an entirely different album, Esther felt that it would be very difficult to discuss the social justice issues in that album without a grounding in Christian unity. How can we unite people of faith? Through music of course! So Esther pushed the other project aside, quickly took pen to paper and wrote the songs that you see on this EP. The funky R&B cross-over sounding "Unity" is based in Psalms 133. Then the second song on the EP goes to the smooth CCM sounds of "United." "Resting Place" was written in the dimly-lit garage of Esther's house in March 2014 after a stressful drive through Boston rush hour traffic. It was originally a personal song asking God to make her his "Resting Place." After some thought, Esther decided to share Resting Place with others as a collective worship experience. "Blessed Redeemer" written like an old hymnal, asks us to unify with the eternal chorus of the saints both in heaven and earth. In addition to this EP "United", Esther successfully launched in 2014 an online fashion and social justice magazine for women and girls at www.esthergeneration.org and is in the process of finishing a book called "Shadow Warriors: An Underground Guide" expected to be published in late 2015. She hopes at some point to record that set aside album called "Esther Generation" at some point in the near future. So enjoy the music, live united and join God’s chorus!
