The Zappa-esque atmospheric initiation of the Carpet Album is an attitude-laden spectral ritual dialoguing between nefarious guitars, tripped-out qanun and keys straight off of your favorite spiritual-jazz album. Originally recorded as a sextet in Prague, this Levantine ballad was overdubbed in Berlin throughout the lockdowns and produced along the Mediterranean in Côte d'Azur and Istria’s Adriatic coast.
