Suburbia was originally formed as a cover band back in 2000. Jeff and Lou had performed as a keyboard and guitar duo in Long Island area clubs and restaurants during the 1990’s and by the end of that decade the guys decided to add pre-recorded backing tracks to their performances to enable them to get bookings as a rock band. In 2002, Jeff and Lou decided to take the original demos they had worked on over the years to the next level. Lou’s LGC Recording Studio was upgraded to enable the band to produce their first CD entitled, “Talk Is Cheap” released in 2005. Meanwhile, by 2003, Jeff’s son Aaron had matured into a talented lead guitar player. He was given a chance to show what he could do on several of the tunes on “Talk Is Cheap,” and soon became the third member of Suburbia for live gigs as well. April 1, 2011 will saw the release of Suburbia’s second CD, “Hole In The Road.” The eleven songs were all written for this recording. "Over the Rainbow" is Suburbia's first attempt at a recording of a standard tune. This updated version of one of the most iconic songs ever written, stays true to the original classic. The band showcases their original music along with performing “covers” at various venues on Long Island and is available for concerts and charitable events.
