I have been in this place before. A couple of times actually. It's not Deja Vu. It's simply the price to pay when you keep something pure and simple. But there's a slight difference now. Ever since I was a kid, I always had a natural affinity for music. I understood the pure essence of what it takes to create a song. To sit and write some lines and then put them to music. That I understood thanks to all the many records I grew up listening to in my room for countless hours. The trick is how to transform that kind of passion into something more palpable in our everyday survival. That's something I haven't been able to learn. It's a kind of art that not everyone can possess. You can either keep yourself living in a dream and just continue for art's sake or you can finally learn from your lessons and evolve in a different direction. I hereby present to you, in one single package, what I consider my most essential recordings from the beginning. It's where you'll find a young man armed with a deep desire to simply record original songs that come from the heart. This same young man was told by many others that he won't even be able to accomplish his first demo. I have met many great creative types along the way and it would be ideal to make a thank you list particularly for this collection. But in all honesty, I don't believe in that and those who matter already know personally how much I appreciate whatever contributions they provided for my art.
