This song was inspired by Malala Yousafzai and the disastrous efforts of the Taliban to silence her. Not only did those efforts fail, but they amplified her voice. She speaks louder than ever; and the whole world hears her. That is what we are doing with this song: amplifying the voice of Malala and underscoring the importance, the value, the repercussions of education--particularly for girls. All girls, by nature, desire to know. We are all Malala.
