'MOON - THE MOON EP' is an amalgamation, if you will, of styles and genres. "Runaway", "Go Ahead & Say Goodbye" and "One Step Beyond" are ska based. "Karma", a song first conceived as a synthesized dance tune, is given new life here as a hybrid pop/ska number. "What I Know" and "I Ain't Gonna Crawl" represent Moon's rock & reggae influences. All in all this mish-mash of island rhythms should help listeners in placing Moon in the same category as, say, Madness, The Specials, No Doubt, Sublime, Passafire and The Police.
