Wolf Trap's first release is from artist Sousk. Sousk is the new production name for already established artist Tim Cook. Tim's had several previous releases on Railyard Recordings, Fade Records and Kismet to mention but a few. Sousk see's him exploring a far darker side. A. 'Bug in the System' This quirky, bouncy little groover, buzzes along like some new breed of technoid-robo-insect with an itchy little sting in it's tail. Think Snork, think Wiggle..you get the picture? B. 'Plaztik' Relentless, edgy, techno-fuelled and face-scrunchingly messed up! This is the audio equivalent of the movie Twelve Monkeys, all post-apocalyptic paranoia and nightmarish hallucinations. A pounding, machine of a track. C. 'A Collection of Cells' An uncompromising, brooding bassline throbs along like a bad head but much more fun. Add to that an eerie vocal, like something you hear when you're dropping off to sleep and a raw, tetchy, fat lizard of a hi-hat dragging itself across the dirt and driving this bad boy all the way. Simple but effective.
