RESOPHONIC PLAYERS OF EUROPE 2005 Resophonic guitar has it's irreplaceable existence in the history of popular music and its typical sound can be found in almost all music styles - country, bluegrass, Hawaii, blues, folk, jazz, rock, etc. This is one of the reasons why we - fans of this unique music instrument, the roots of which are in Slovakia where John Dopyera (1893-1988), the inventor of this instrument was born, decided to found an independent association called The World Resophonic Association (WRA).
