Lisa Ono is a singer of Japanese descent who adopted Brazil as her land and Brazilian bossa as her expression. This album is dedicated to the wonderful compositions by João Donato, who also wrote all arrangements and played on it, together with some of the best musicians in Brazil, like the violonista Hélio Delmiro. Her delicate vocal delivery is perfect for Donato's sensitive music and the lyrics by several eminent partners such as Caetano Veloso, João Gilberto, Paulo César Pinheiro, Gilberto Gil, and others (the inlay is misguiding, putting the music composer after the lyricist).
