The Salon Music Ensemble, today known as The Brooklyn Theatre Salon Ensemble, comprises of fine young South African musicians that were hand picked and have all gained considerable experience playing the genre - salon music. Frederic Freschi (Baritone) has an excellent voice and the natural ability to sing in European languages that lends a pleasant contrast with the instrumental works on the CD. Sergio Zampolli is South-Africa’s top accordionist and we are delighted to feature his artistry on this recording. We hope to offer you many hours of listening pleasure with this elegant album. Willem Vogel's arrangements for a six-piece instrumental ensemble comprising flute, clarinet, cello, double bass and piano have proven to be hugely popular with lovers of the Salon Music genre in South Africa.
