"Taking Off" is a song by the British band The Cure. It was the second single to be taken from their 2004 eponymous album released exclusively in Europe. "alt.end" is the American / Canadian equivalent, released at the same time and featuring the same b-sides. The song has the same chord progression and melody (although a little bit faster) as an earlier Cure song "In Your House".
