3rd track from Daniel Villarreal‘s forthcoming album Panamá 77 on International Anthem. With Cole DeGenova on organ and Gordon Walters on bass, Villarreal recorded this interpretation of an old Panamanian folk tune by Avelino Muñoz. Perhaps it's an homage to Villarreal's father, who was a musician in a traveling conjunto, who showed a young Villarreal how to play scales on the organ when he was 7 years old, growing up in Panama City.
