Not too impressive compared to her amazing string of previous singles. It kinda sounds like she's on autopilot, just churning out something that a PJ Harvey cover band (Never Met Her would be my choice for the name of such a band) would produce, and she even does some half-hearted arm-flailing and chair-wobbling gestures in the video, which she did much more spontaneously and aggressively in some previous vids. However, the beginning verses are quite extraordinary and there's a nice overall melody, and it's hard to picture another singer doing this song, so it is a success overall. The b-side is a jaunty Rainer Ptacek cover that would've fit onto the jukebox in the movie Roadhouse.
