Forsaken EP is the seventh EP released by Dream Theater, and their first digitally released EP, with no physical version being available. It was released in 2008. The EP was created to promote the song Forsaken from the album Systematic Chaos. Forsaken EP is the band's first EP since Through Her Eyes. Originally, the Forsaken EP was planned to feature a live version of The Dark Eternal Night, in addition to the other two live tracks. This track was cut from the official release, however, to comply with digital retail standards.
