Revered Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen has announced that he will release his new album, titled ‘Spell Bound’ on December 5th. So far, there is little information available on the details of the album; however, it has been confirmed that Malmsteen’s bassist, Ralph Ciavolino provided the majority of the vocals for the record. Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (Beyond Fear, ex-Judas Priest, Iced Earth), who has been Malmsteen’s vocalist since 2008, was unable to attend the ‘Spell Bound’ recording sessions in July because of previously made commitments to his official Ronnie James Dio tribute band the Dio Disciples.
