Canadian rock band Metric, formed by Emily Haines, James Shaw, Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott-Key, is ready to return to the music scene with brand new single called “The Shade“. The track is confirmed as the first taste of the band’s upcoming sixth studio album, scheduled to be released on digital retailers later this year via Metric Music International. This new single marks their return three years after the release of their last album “Synthetica“. According All Access, “The Shade” was released on May 11th and is set to impact radio on May 19th.
