NYC based band "The Static Rising" was formed as a Krautrock inspired group. They have released 3 albums over a 4 year period, and have finally found themselves in their latest release. They take what is normally a 20 minute psychedelic improvisation, and combine it into a 3-5 minute burst of madness. Using modern technology as a launching pad, but also embracing the influences of the past, they combine analog and digital, serene and obnoxious, love and hate, and self awareness. We highly recommend sitting down on your couch, putting on a pair of headphones, and buckling in for this 30 minute ride through the cosmos.
