Fiscal Cliff
Fiscal Cliff tells the story of a banker who looks out over the city one day and realises he has caused the crash. His solution? To throw himself off the literal and metaphorical Fiscal Cliff. Half way through the song, he has a visit from the "God of Economics" and decides that life is not so bad after all. Finally, he repents at leisure by becoming an environmentalist. Its the usual story of "economist to environmentalist" set in a Spinal Tapesque groove! in brief "Fiscal Cliff" is a slightly ironic hard rock anthem about economics, banking, fake suicide, false Gods, false hopes, repentance, renewal, environmentalism, sustainability sex, drugs and rock’n’roll … Pretty normal then ...
