As mentioned, Mark Lanegan is set to release his new solo album, Phantom Radio, on October 21. Where first single "Floor Of The Ocean" was decidedly synthy, the second-released track from the album, "Harvest Home," sounds a little more like what we associate with the onetime Screaming Trees frontman with: tremolo'd guitar in a minor key that goes well with lines like "Black is a color, black is my name." The song makes its premiere in this post and you can stream it below. Mark will be in NYC when his tour hits The Marlin Room at Webster Hall on November 8. Tickets are on sale now. Produced and co-written by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age) British guitarist Duke Garwood assisted with 'I Am The Wolf,' violinist Sietse van Gorkom co-wrote 'The Killing Season,' and Lanegan's girlfriend Shelley Brien added vocals to the set's 'Floor of the Ocean.'
