Let's Groove was written by drummer,Calvin Napper,who's a current member of Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. This song was written as a tribute to McKinley "Bug" Williams,who was an original member of Maze,where he sang and played percussion, since the bands inception. At the start of every show,McKinley would always address the audience,in whatever city the band was playing that night,by saying,"let's groove",which inspired Calvin to write this really groovy,funk, jazz instrumental. This song also features some of the current band members of Maze; Jubu Smith ,on guitar,and Vance Taylor, on keyboards. McKinley passed away in September 2011.
