XXX (pronounced Triple X) is the thirteenth studio album by British supergroup Asia, released in 2012. It is the third studio album after the reunion of all four original members (Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton) in 2006. The name features the Roman numeral 'XXX', in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut album. The cover artwork was created by Roger Dean. In January of 2012, he finished a painting of the central red dragon (referencing the first album cover and how 2012 is again the Chinese Year of the Dragon), which was shown before a Wetton solo show that month. XXX was released on CD, collector’s edition CD/DVD (featuring new music videos and behind the scenes footage), and on a limited edition vinyl. The first single taken from the album is entitled "Face on the Bridge", released digitally worldwide on May 14, 2012. It reached #1 in two major charts: The Planet Rock UK Airplay Chart and Amazon UK MP3 Progressive Rock Chart. The album itself reached #1 in two more charts: Amazon UK’s DualDisc Music Category Chart and CD Universe’s "Top Future Releases" Chart.
