Erkka, one half of Anjunadeep duo Komytea, launches his solo project on the label with an infectious two track EP, including "Air Conditioner" and the much anticipated "Excommunication". The EP is the first in an exciting new project that will see the Finnish producer explore a wide spectrum of electronic sounds. Bringing together robotic funk, nu disco grooves and melodic 80s-influenced textures, "Excommunication" is an emphatic opener. With a deep, brooding but uplifting bassline, hypnotic vocodered vocals and an infectious melody, Erkkas "Excommunication" is a slow burning dancefloor bomb that should appeal to a range of DJs. "Air Conditioner" is an equally deep, melodic concoction, complete with crisp, skipping percussion and another beautiful flowing melody.
