This release is their score to the 1978 Australian cult classic directed by Richard Franknin, best known for Psycho 2 and Link before directing the underground Patrick. Cinevox commissioned Goblin to write and record a more fashionable soundtrack for the Italian release to replace the orchestral drama of the Briay May incidental music from the original language version. With Goblin having scored horror and sci-fi classics Pnemomena, Buio Omega, Suspiria, Zombi, and La Via Della Droga, among many others, the group was the essential candidate for sound designing the black atmosphere of this psycho-thriller. Soundtrack freaks and progressive rock fans alike take note: Essentially this space rock/prog recording stands out as an album in its own right -- a document of one of the more influential soundtrack groups of the '70s.
