Problems Commentary My music is a bit different from what’s going on now. I understand the consumer and trends but I also understand art and message. My music is thinking music and there is a message in the music and I try to put one in every song. I've been called a foolish dreamer and been called out of touch but my approach has never faltered since I touched a mic and “spit” on a beat. I have an album coming called “THE WAKE MOVEMENT”, and this is my attempt to bring a commentary of non-fiction based upon being young, Black and American. Also to give an account of the progressive, free thinking, quasi intellectual trying to navigate through a system rigged. For those Kings and Queens that are hard working, fast learning, family orientated and goal driven, I applaud you! Yes we do exist! And this is not a knock to my comrades that have had the misfortunes of getting caught up in a system that set against them! (They've gotten me too!) None of us are immune to this system and if they catch you sleep, napping or slipping they’ll get you too! I understand that my music might not be for you, I understand that I’m alternative. But I needed to make an album that I wouldn't be ashamed for my daughters to hear. Most important I needed to make an album that I wanted to hear. Change starts with one step. Everyone lend me your ears and travel with me as this journey begins.
