It did yield him a mild hit with "She Needs To Get Some," although it also generated a little controversy regarding the song's sexual/sexist direction. Parker's vocals were never great, but they seemed more weary than anything else. His past hits had succeeded with him striking either a bemused or a comical/teasing stance; now he sounded tired, detached, and even a little angry.
