In the spirit of Jonathan Coulton (and chagrin at not thinking of it himself first), Tom Smith wrote, recorded, and released a song every week for a year, resulting in four collections, of which this is the first. This being Tom, the songs are about ever-damn-thing -- death, love, breasts, probability theory, death, evolution, scary clowns, imaginary friends, more death, technology, Ren Faires, torture, outer space, dying religions, pirates, Harry Potter, how to save civilization, and, um, death. If you haven't heard Tom's stuff before -- or even if you have -- hang on for a wild ride as one of the maddest minds in music cranks out comedy, puts forth pathos, challenges us all to be better, and occasionally drops a lethal pun.
