Night Ranger are still pretty big in Japan and that is why they are releasing their fourth live album recorded in Japan. First one was in 1990, under the title “Live In Japan” , then in 1977, “Rock In Japan ’97″, “Rockin’ Shibuya ” in 2007 and now “Big In Japan”. Japanese people must fond this band a great bit to want to buy all these releases. For saving your money now, you have to know that “Big In Japan” is actually “Rock in Japan ’97″. This is the exact same live recording of a live show the band gave at Akasaka Blitz, Tokyo, Japan in 1997. The only difference, is that this one comes in a 2-CD Digipak with bonus interview by Brad Gillis and Kelly Keagy. Is it a great live show? But of course it is, Night Ranger is a huge band and in case you don’t own “Rock in Japan ’97″ you should probably go n’ buy it, in any other case this release is just a rip off.
