Sir Duke is the pen name for singer song writer and producer Dan Hodgson. For the past year Dan has been locked away in his studio Working on material that has taken him on a different musical direction and for him created a completely new sound. The production of this sound is thanks to many great musical influences including Radiohead, Thom Yorke, Massive attack, Zero 7 ,Queens Of The Stone Age and Elbow to name a few. The sound of Sir Duke is a collection of live instrumentation alongside sequenced beats, rhythms and synths. So far the end result has been Sir Dukes’ first EP ‘Bloodshot’. The ‘Bloodshot’ EP has been born out of the studio and has the potential to translate into a live show so watch this space.
