Fernanda Cunha is well established singer on today’s Brazilian jazz scene. She started to sing in 1997 in Rio de janeiro,Brazil and has toured in Brazil, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Denmark, France, Malaysia and Argentina . In 2015 she is releasing her new album (6th album) “Olhos de mar”, the first one featuring only previously unreleased songs written by great songwriters that are still making music in Brazil such as Antonio Adolfo, Cristóvão Bastos, Carlinhos Vergueiro, Daniel Gonzaga, Denilson Santos, Filó Machado, and 2 songs composed by Toronto jazz guitarist Reg Schwager (Born in Netherlands, living in Toronto-Canada) with lyrics by Fernanda. The CD brings Bossa nova, sambas, Brazilian blues and jazz, upbeat songs. Fernanda is a member of Latin Grammy awards since 2007.
