Throughout the years Lil Rick has secured a position as one of the paramount Soca Entertainers in the Caribbean and beyond. Having won several competitions and awards throughout his years in the entertainment business, he is one of the most recognized and sought after Soca Stars in that genre. Lil Rick has released quite a few albums during his tenure in the entertainment industry, the most recent release being the hit album “Spontaneous” in 2005. Since the release of “Spontaneous”, Lil Rick has released two music videos for his 2007 hits “Girls Gone Wild” and “Can’t Wait”. However, it was clear that due to the heavy demands to book Lil Rick and his capturing of the Barbados Music Awards “Male Entertainer of the Year (2007)”, that there was a desire for more music from “the Hypa Dawg”. This desire led to the creation of the 2008 album “The Crave”. During the production of this album, his aspiration was to not only satisfying the cravings of his fans, but also his own personal desires as well. This created an interesting mix of songs that range from the infectious groovy track “This is a Party” to the very popular “Breakaway”, a collaborative effort with his son “The Unda Dawg”. The Album also features the duets with Soca Queen Allison Hinds and Gorg, “Wash Off” and “Wuk Up, You Hear Wha I Tell You” respectively.
