Dr. Kmer, based in Vicenza-Veneto, Italy and Jimmy Roland, in Los Angeles, Ca, met in late 2008. The two decided to team up and released the dance track “Got To Be Real”. The track reached the #1 position on iDanceRadio.fm (a popular Internet radio station) and in September ’09, the video to Real, made its broadcast premier on national television. The two decided to produce more tracks with Kmer handling the music production and Roland, taking care of the writing and vocals. They’ve come up with “It’s All About Us”. This EP opens with “Suspicious Mind” which is already in rotation on iDanceRadio.fm and in clubs. It has a strong melodic hook as it talks of a jealous lover who is controlled by a Suspicious Mind. The title track Us, is a beautiful well written mid tempo ballad that is sure to put you in a romantic mood. The production of “You” (K-Dance Mix), is a must hear. Jimmy Roland is no newcomer to the US charts and he has shared main-stage billing with quite a few of his favorites (i.e. Sheena Easton, Patti LaBelle, The Village People and KC & The Sunshine band, to name a few). Many have compared his voice/style to that of Luther Vandross and Lionel Richie as he can handle, many genres of music.
