by David White Viper's debut is a raw-sounding album somewhat reminiscent of Iron Maiden. It has very consistent songwriting, which isn't as dynamic as it would become on future albums. The title track is the best indication of the direction Viper would go in the future. This is an excellent first album, although the dull-sounding production and lack of originality in songwriting show a band just starting to find itself.
