Producer Randy Muller moved Brass Construction away from horn-driven disco/funk and toward the synthesizer-dominated, heavily syncopated sound that was now ruling R&B and dance music. He restored a little lost luster, as the single "Can You See the Light" got some urban and dance radio airplay, and the band was no longer missing in action.
