Milestone is an album that, as opposed to other Hip Hop/Rap albums, actually appeals to anybody who doesn't particularly like or listen to rap. It doesn't come across as a Rap project, but as accounts of when Owen Kay was quite emotionally moved during his teenage years. Milestone is a song dedicated to his mother, with a real sincerity of soul, and a magical feel on the ear. It's no secret that Owen is influenced greatly by Eminem, and if you listen to the song Mental Impairment, it's hard to tell the difference between him and his idol, with this long multi-syllabic rhymes, witty metaphors, and humorous remarks.
