Like the preceding Best Foot Forward, regular Pork sessioners Bernard Moss and Tom Harland are drafted in to add their respective flute and guitar to Baby Mammoth's slow and easy grooves, a dub low end underlining the smoky, late-night feeling of the grooves. Work as a live band is apparent through the freewheeling and easy arrangements, with the lazy live mix of "Pink Elephants" offering a highlight, drafting in Andy Dimmack on percussion and Carl Hogarth on keys for some beautifully airy sonic smoke rings.
