On December 2, 2014, award-winning guitar composer Tom Salvatori released a solo classical guitar version of Paul McCartney’s ‘Hope for the Future’ – a theme-styled song that made its debut on the Destiny Video Game Score in September, 2014. Tom appreciates minimalists such as Erik Satie and his rendering of ‘Hope for the Future’ brings McCartney’s sweeping, grandiose piece of music down to the very basics of composition. Salvatori composes in a somewhat brooding, threadbare styling himself and often describes his music as ”unencumbered by elaboration and unadorned by ornamentation”.
