Karma was founded in 1984 on the carribean island Curacao and has been playing all over the carribean and south America eversince. In 1987 Karma emigrated to Europe and settled down in The Netherlands The band plays carribean music with african/latin influences. The music varies from merengue,soca,salsa reggae from latincarribean,to the more traditional kaseko from Surinam,combined rythms from aruba and curacao . Thanks to the intense syncope playing of the experienced female drummer combined with Stunning afrofunky basslines the compositions always have that extra groove that makes you want to dance. Additional experimental computer programming give the songs the finishing touch.
