Hey there! I am Shelby Olive-- a singer/songwriter from good ol' Ohio! I got a ukulele for Christmas back in 2009 because my hands wouldn't fit around a guitar comfortably. I hate to be cliche, but from that moment on, it was history! I played that little green Ohana every chance that I got. I learned every single song I knew by reading the chord charts upside down (I'm left handed & didn't know they made left-handed instruments) and annoyed my family and friends endlessly by playing Radiohead's "Creep" atleast 1,000 times. I talked my best friend into also buying a ukulele so we could play together. That's when Recipe of Life, my duo project, was formed. (Check us out if you haven't.
