The February Feeling is it's own statement. The bewildering shades of grey and greens, it's a time for deeper things to open your mind and inspire, with the promise of new life. A bricolage of of seasons and reasons when the sun is warm and the wind is chill. Before the reckless bloom of pure spring, if it were a voice it would be singing into the heart of the night and start of a new day. Here in Los Angeles February gives us Sun and rain, thunder and wind, misty mornings, crisp bright days and an ever changing feel of Spring and Winter. Feelings of darkness and disparity turn to feelings of hope and promise. February, a time to gather golden moments, to remember a sentimental journey. There is a privacy about February that no other month gives you, though she goes so fast, February reminds you to linger and savor belonging to nature and earth. The mighty light of the sun, the quenching refreshing rain, the wind at your back, the clouds peer in then disappear in skies of blue and grey, painted with clouds of silver and white to grey, as pinks, reds, oranges frame the days; no bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. I've seen many a rainbow in February. The February Feeling forever appears, taking us through the years, thawing the frozen fears, giving way to the green gardens growing, and the breezy blossoms flowing. All seasons, for the knowing.
