It has been a 3 year journey for Boosh & theDip as they worked on "The River City Riot", which turned out to be a two part album. Part 1 released November 2015, while Part 2 delivered on May 23, 2017. The music is completley self produced and uses live instruments to peice together epc style production that still retains the soul, golden era, and sample style hip-hop that has influenced Boosh coming up. The album travels through an artists idea of wanting to escape, feeling trapped and held back, and the thought of wanting to find something bigger than the community they are currently apart of. In the end, the conclusion is made that as artists, the community we are apart of largely defines our art, and very likeley remaining true to your art will mean remaining true to its roots, as well as your own... The group has started to gain a viral following through their online videos over the past year and a half, building on the campaign of RCR1. With their succesful Kickstarter campaign priorto the release of RCR2, you can expect this album campaign to reach a new level in 2017. Stay tuned!
